This Course Fulfills 3 hrs of Ethics.

All active members must take a code of ethics class once every three years. The applicable dates are the same for all Realtors irrespective of when they join. The current cycle began January 1, 2025 and ends December 31, 2027. All active Realtor members must take a code of ethics class sometime between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2027. Failure to meet the mandate is a violation of membership requirements and will result in suspension of membership until the requirement is met or until membership is automatically terminated. This class meets the NAR mandated requirement for completion of Code of Ethics.

ZOOM 8/12/2026 - Clarifying Service Animals 3CE - Learning Level: Intermediary

Have you ever been in a situation where the tenants are looking to rent a house with a no pet policy, or you have a buyer looking to purchase a condo in an association with a no pet policy, or maybe you had a short-term tenant bring their animal on vacation where no pets are allowed? If you haven't, chances are you will!

  • Identify what classifies as a service dog under the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Explain when Emotional Support Animals are and are not protected by various laws
  • Explain how an Emotional Support Animal would be allowed under the Fair Housing Act
