8/25/2026 Commercial Core Law 3CE - Learning Level: Advanced

The Florida Legislature passes and amends real estate laws and rules each year. Many of these changes can be daunting and overwhelming. Commercial Core Law will assist Realtors by focusing on changes to state and federal real estate license law, highlighting both laws and rules. The course will give a brief overview of commercial transactions vs. residential; discuss commercial real estate agreements; and discuss legal issues unique to commercial transactions.
 
Objectives:
  • Recognize and distinguish between a commercial transaction and a residential transaction
  • Understand the basic premises of the license law which licenses the brokerage of commercial real estate
  • Understand the disclosure requirements in a commercial transaction

9/3/26 Florida Appraiser's State Law Update 3CE

When it comes to state and federal laws that impact Real Estate Appraisers, it could not be more imperative that licensees both develop and communicate analyses and opinions correctly. This course is for appraisers that want to understand not only what changes have recently come about, but also the history and purpose of the Appraisal Foundation.

9/09/26 Code of Ethics (Spanish) 3CE - Learning Level: Beginner

This Course Fulfills 3 hrs of Ethics.

All active members must take a code of ethics class once every three years. The applicable dates are the same for all Realtors irrespective of when they join. The current cycle began January 1, 2025 and ends December 31, 2027. All active Realtor members must take a code of ethics class sometime between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2027. Failure to meet the mandate is a violation of membership requirements and will result in suspension of membership until the requirement is met or until membership is automatically terminated. This class meets the NAR mandated requirement for completion of Code of Ethics.

Understanding real estate law is part of every real estate licensee business. The more a licensee knows, the better he or she can work with customers and safeguard them from legal complications. Buying and selling property requires a lot of legal paperwork. Today, more than ever, it is important to know the laws governing the practice of real estate. This material will provide a red flag notice of when participants are potentially going into a danger zone - the unlicensed practice of law.
 
Objectives:
  • Identify and avoid the unlicensed practice of law
  • Describe the seller's duty to disclose material facts
  • Demonstrate knowledge of laws such as the Floridan Landlord and Tenant Act, Environmental and Growth Management laws, and the Florida Brokerage Relationship Disclosure Act
