NEW MEMBERS

All new members are required to complete the following:

• Code of Ethics course

The Code of Ethics course is a requirement for all REALTOR members. Your adherence to the Code signifies your commitment to serve your clients in an ethical and professional manner. After this initial course, members will be required Code of Ethics training every three years to maintain REALTOR membership.

This course can be taken for FREE online at www.nar.realtor. The Code of Ethics course must be taken within 90 days of your application and must be taken before the New Member Welcome Orientation. Failure to complete this class will result in suspension of your membership and a reinstatement fee of $100.00 will be applied to your account.

Current cycle for COE=   Cycle 7 - January 1, 2022, to December 2024

Future cycle for COE=    Cycle 8 - January 1, 2025, to December 2027

• New Member Welcome Orientation:

Once your membership application has been processed, you will be enrolled in the next available New Member Welcome Orientation. If you miss the scheduled date, you will automatically be rescheduled. This orientation must be taken within 90 days of your application. Failure to complete this class will result in suspension and a reinstatement fee of $100.00 will be applied to your account.

• Stellar MLS Classes

MLS subscribers are required to complete MLS BASIC, MLS COMPLIANCE 101 (required biennially), and MLS ADDING & EDITING (mandatory for members adding listings) for Stellar MLS membership. Stellar MLS courses must be taken within 60 days of your application. After 60 days, your Stellar MLS access will be suspended until completion of these trainings. You can register for the Stellar MLS courses through our class calendar or online in the Stellar University portal.
